Membership of the group is open to any farm business co-operating together with one or more farm business for the purpose of increasing profitability and efficiency. There are two levels of membership for joint venture businesses:
Full membership with Benchmarking - £500
Discussion Group membership - £150
(these are corporate membership subscriptions)
A third category exists for individuals who are involved as advisors to Joint Venture farmers.
The Joint Venture Farming Group meest 3 or 4 times a year, often on a farm of one of the members who will give a brief presentation of the way the host JV operates. One or more issues or ideas of interest to the group will be explored.
